Use the sun today as your fuel to get outside and run or do a workout that you have been wanting to do, but could not because of the snow and ice. While it is a muddy mess and still slick, that will make your work that much more fun.

ReplyDeleteAfter Fran on Friday was looking for ways to improve my grip. Was thinking w/ the rope slam/DL/DU would work on that. Didn't have any problem with grip, but what I found out is that going from rope slams to dead lift I had trouble keeping that "big chest" and the straight back. Rope slams were taxing on the upper back between the shoulder blades.
With back squats wanted to go w/185 but after warmup decided it would be better to go w/155.
Feeling the rope slams now. Definitly need to work them in more. All in all left feeling good. Needed that feeling after the diaster I thought was a workout sat. Don't ask.
