30/30 Intervals or Circuit 030409 W


Worlock getting ready to Clean 185 in the original space

Workout A - 30/30

4 rounds per exercise of 30 seconds work followed by 30 seconds rest.
30 seconds of "Rest" is to be taken in the "active rest" position.
Recover exactly 2 minutes between exercises.

Pushpress @ 45lb olympic bar, rest at lockout (4:00)
recover 2:00
Squats @ body weight, rest at the bottom (4:00)
recover 2:00
Pushups, rest in the plank position (4:00)
recover 2:00
Anchored Situps, rest at the top (4:00)
recover 2:00
Lunges @ body weight, alternate rest at the bottom (4:00)
recover 2:00
Burpees, rest standing (4:00)

34 total minutes including rest

Post average reps per exercise to comments

Workout B - Circuit
(only for those who need to start early, the rest of you are going to experience workout A)

5 rounds / 16-12-8-4-10 = 50 total reps of:

Swings @ 35 / 70lbs
Slams @ 20 / 25lbs
Pushups (chest to deck)
Goblet Squats @ 35 / 70lbs
Jog 300m (200 jump rope is sub for poor weather)

    Lunges - 9 (Final set w/ bar)
    Burpees - 9

    Pushpress - 18 (held lockout on all)
    Squats - 17 (failed rest 3-4 times)
    Pushups - 15 (failed twice)
    Situps - 11.5 (failed twice) feet under bar
    Lunges - 9 (L/R = 1 rep)
    Burpees - 10

    A good one for mixing it up. Plus, all you need is a bar.
