I tried the breathing ladder for the first time yesterday. The mode was the swing and the load was a 35lb kb.
I did 30 rounds (1-30) for a total of 465 reps. During rounds 1-10 rest was taken standing with the kb, 11-20 was standing with the kb on the ground, and during 21-30 rest was taken laying flat out on my back.
It was a different experience. More calm and peaceful and similar to meditation than what were normally used to. I think more experimentation is necessary.
One thing I'll do next time is block off enough time and climb back down the ladder (1-30-1), for a total of 900 swings.
