I'm NOT looking forward to this run. My legs are already fully cooked. Love The Bar + 7 mile run + 84 front squats @155lbs with only one day of rest mixed in is gonna make the trail REALLY painful today.
Yesterdays squat workout was the most reps I have done at that weight ever. I was completely spent after finishing the final 2 sets unbroken. I have a benchmark and a goal. I want to do the same workout in about 6 weeks with a higher weight and beat my time. While my broken hand limits the exercises I can do, it will help me focus on building a stronger base and core and therefore help me with the other movements when I am able to do them. My weaker lower body has been a factor in my slow 400m times and I have noticed it in some workouts, but it wasn't until last night and this morning when I realized how much work I needed. I could barely walk down stairs. I knew the trail run was gonna be tough. Glad I have been limited to mostly lower body work. I will come out of this much stronger and much faster.
Not for time:

foot finally felt good today!!
