  1. Got a big old DNF on Fran today, my ankle is absolutely killing me. Ripped off a couple blisters too, but that isn't what stopped me. Went to the Y and did some elliptical, one of the only things that doesn't hurt.

    Pretty much know for sure now the only way I am going to be able to compete this weekend will be with some heavy pain meds. Very disappointing.

    0:27 improvement over the last 12 weeks (5.1.09)

    Thrusters:
    21 - 10,5 -9

    Pullups:
    16,5 - 6,5,4 - 3,2,2,2

    If I could only learn to use my legs more during the thrusters and become more efficient on the pullups. My arms didn't work when I was done.

    Glad to have improved but sub 5:00 is still my current goal. Re-test Friday, 10.16.09
