"Without consequence there's no penalty for pretense"

Before you go any further, READ THIS.
Starting tomorrow, 6.1.09, we'll be trying some new things here at The Shop. It's similar to what we've been doing with regards to strength and speed but the elements of "time", "surprise", and "penalty" will play a much larger role.
The overall goal is to bring anxiety to the surface so that each day truly is a new "test". Not only a test but, more specifically, a test where the outcome is hard to imagine or guesstimate. By mixing what we currently know about training with new ways of doing things and a new level of randomness; it will not only keep our bodies guessing, but our minds as well.
To that I say, What better way could there be to achieving our goals?
"Overcoming fear is a key to self-knowledge. One must welcome fear, confront it, and become familiar with it. Consistent confrontation with the unknown familiarizes one with fear."

This is absolutely the problem with alot of the western civilizations(The USA is at the top of the food chain when it comes to this). We all have such a great understanding of what should to be done,as though there is a rule book that everyone should follow and if you step out of line you are judged or condemed. The lack of just letting go limits many many people lives becasue they continue to stay(affraid) and are limited by what our society DEMANDS that we SHOULD do. May be should do exactly what we want to do and say SCREW YOU ALL to anybody that says that is WRONG!! No ONE really judges(Who really has time to judge another?) Isn't it hard enough to try to take care of our self.
