Work
One ascent for time, every 5 minutes, for 25 minutes (6 total)
The faster you get up and down the more rest you'll get.

  1. With a twist courtesy of beast. After runs 1-5, did 25,20,15,10, and 5 pushups. This is one of the workouts that if we trained specifically for it, or did it all the time it would certainly get easier and going beyond 6 rounds would be part of the programming but for a bi-annual event just finishing all six rounds and 75 pushups felt good and bad to me. Our group definately inspired others tonight, which was pretty cool. Everyone gave it their all. Maybe next time, about November, we strap on a weighted vest or have some kettlebells waiting at the bottom of the hill. Better yet, maybe a farmer carry, it could get ugly.
