Track Day 062709 Sa

Speed and Endurance, we'll do both today.


-Warm Up-

2 rounds of:
200m jog
200m walk

-Workout-

Section A.

4 Rounds of:
400m sprint
2:00 rest

Rest 10-15 minutes, then...

Section B.

For time:

Run 3.25 miles / 13 laps / 5k

    Getting ready to run 5k. Time will be slow, wife wants to run with me and that means I will have to push 30 pound kid in a jog stroller

    rested 12 min then did 2 x 40 yard sprints with a Manhattan High wide receiver. He beat me by a step or two but had cleats, so, per the running joke at The Shop, he gets an *

    rested a few minutes after that and started my 5k. Made it 1/2 mile and decided to put my iPod on. got distracted talking about high school football, Then made it 400 and quit. So the official 5k result is a big fat

    I AM FAST!
    Rode 3.2 miles in a car in approx 5 minutes. No PR, but not bad.
