Missed AM workout, lingering effects of last nights rekindling kept me in the comforts of home and the warmth of my full body pillow. Mental weakness or physical??
ReplyDeletePM Run, 30:52, HR Max at 168. I have been here before, time and again. Like visiting your wifes relatives, familiar but still annoying. I felt like I gave it all I had, but mentally I see myself breaking the 30 min barrier, and then the 28, possibly the 26 but fact is, I am stuck. Start slow, speed in the middle and steady up the hill...31 min. Start fast, slower up the hill, but solid finish..31 min. Steady run throughout...31 min. New shoes...31 min. No Shoes...31 min. I think the difference between 31 min and breaking 30 is a matter of a few inches...filling the space between my ears.
