Tick... Tick... Tick...
Today's work is a grind and is meant to be done quickly but not "for time"
That being said, it will be interesting to see how long this winters first true grind takes.
Don't let too many seconds go by, they add up

  3. Thought you would love to know that the 'Shop Chipper' is now the official makeup workout of my weights class. If kids miss class or non-suit, they have to complete the Chipper to get their missed points back...it kills them! :)

When are you gonna do it?

  5. Already did it. Tough! Have to put an asterisk next to my time as I only completed 10 Burpees due to the fact I was about to shit myself and could no longer perform.

I will post my time when I do it again and complete the whole workout. I think I can do it in the 9 minute range, though.

  6. after this workout it reminds me how important to me that I do a variation of different types of workouts, timed short, running or biking, and grinds like today. The variation is represenative of the way life is sometimes we have to go super hard and fast and sometimes we have to have the phsyical and mental stamina that a workout like today makes very clear. Variation is the key for me.

  7. I think the Beastmaster is right. It's easy to get too focused in one area and neglect what we should be doing.

About how long did it take everyone?

  8. 110 Burpees..pushups, 55 Manmakers..pushups, 55 Mr Spectacular..pushups. It was mentally tough and physically exhausting, I was cussing the program and cussing the programer, the workout took longer to finish than it took him to drive home, stop for icecream with the kids, and kick back on the couch with the heater cranked up watching something mind-numbing on the television. When the 205# DL, and 95# Squat CJ are the ones you can't wait to get to because that is where you can regain your composure than something has to be wrong. Or does it. Sometimes doing something that feels so wrong can awaken muscles and emotions that have slept too long. Good workout, especially since I have been taking it easy on the upperbody, this really got those triggers firing again.
